with Christmas being a busy time of year I’ve taken some time to put together a gift guide to take * some * of the stress out of shopping…
This is the fourth Christmas for Alterme Home and quite possibly the biggest range yet! Browse our handmade gifts to pick up for loved ones…or keep for yourself - we won’t tell anyone!
Thank you firstly for your support this year - and since the beginning (if you’ve been around that long)! It means so much to me to be able to continue to bring you handmade pieces from my home to yours, especially at Christmas time! This is a little guide to Christmas gifting with Alterme Home & perhaps you can pick up a few presents for loved ones (or yourself..) and tick them off the to do list early!

D I N N E R P A R T Y G I F T S
Take the host something special this Christmas - like our beautiful handmade re-usable crackers (not strictly reserved for Christmas day!) or our Christmas tea towel as a gesture that you might help with the dishes after dinner….
Our beautiful handmade re-usable fabric Christmas crackers available in our NEW Cheltenham wider green stripe, best selling Jasmine sage green stripe, Jennifer beige stripe or Charlbury dark grey stripe. These are much friendlier the the planet and made from scarps of fabric and ribbon that would otherwise go to landfill, the centre is even an off cut from left over card fabric rolls - meaning it is recycled as well!
To use simply untie the ends, un-wrap and fill the tube with a useful trinket or gift of your choice then re-wrap. Think of these more of a table gift and decoration than a cracker that you pull!

“My nan’s favourite animals were sheep; and I love them too! We would always buy her anything we saw with sheep on - this was the inspiration for my Christmas sheep illustration! “

On the subject of hosting, some perfect gifts for those who love to bake; our handmade apron’s are a beautiful present - plus if you’re feeling extra generous how about a pretty oven glove to match?
Our first kitchen apron and it only seemed right to make it in the ‘woodland walk’ print, an in-house design fabric by Jasmine. This beautiful green print on neutral lighter linen base is perfect for kitchen tasks without compromising an outfit.

Our ‘Blossom’ handmade linen ruffle trim draft excluder is the solution to cold hallways, placed against your door this clever solution helps save money on heating whilst also adding a little pop of colour, interest and texture to hallways.
