Summer in Somerset - The Country Brocante

A L T E R M E H O M E A N E C D O T E S

a few days in Sunny Somerset at the stunning Roumdhill Grange

We had the absolute pleasure of being part of this years Country Brocante Summer Fair - held at Roundhill Grange in Sommerset.

This is the first ever time we have been a stall holder and it was an absolute pleasure to meet new and existing customers, make friends and connections in the self employed and creative industry and showcase the widest selection of Alterme Home products we have to date. In case you missed it we’ve put together a selection of NEW and existing products that were at the fair for you to shop online now!

I am overwhelemed by the feedback I received by every person who visited the stall, each saying exactly the same;

‘A collection of fresh and calming products’

And that is exactly the vision I had when creating the products, the brand and the offering online!

Pure Unscented Classic White Dinner Candles - Set of Four
£5.00

Elevate your dining experience or beautifully display them on your mantle; our wonderful classic white dinner candles are truly an essential item for any homeowner. Their timeless design enhances the aesthetic of your space, adding warmth and charm to both everyday meals and special occasions.

Our dinner candles come as a set of four.

Handcrafted Linen Bunting — Greens & Neutrals
from £38.00

A calm, natural bunting crafted from linen offcuts in soft greens and warm neutral tones. Each length is made to order in our Birmingham studio, using leftover fabric pieces to reduce waste and give new life to beautiful materials that would otherwise go to landfill.

The gentle palette brings a quiet, timeless charm to any space — perfect for kitchens, garden rooms, children’s bedrooms, or thoughtful seasonal decorating. The linen’s natural texture adds warmth and authenticity, creating a subtle decorative detail that feels both handcrafted and considered.

Available in various lengths to suit your home, every strand is unique, reflecting the character of the fabrics used.

A special mention to my incredibly supportive other half Jack & little puppy dog Buddy for their love and support over the past week, with preparations, fetching and carrying as well as helping out on the stall! Also so grateful to my incredibly supportive family & friends who always motivate me, cheer me on and give me the confidence to make all of this happen!

Thank you for reading, we hope you enjoyed your visit and if not enjoyed virtually shopping the edit! We can’t wait to be part of another event like this so keep an eye on emails as we’ll be sharing where we’ll be next VERY soon!
